Recently, God gave me a picture to share with my church and I thought I would share on my blog too, in the hope that it will encourage those of you reading this.

The picture was of a wall that had no real foundation. The bricks had no mortar between them. There was no strength. Each of these bricks represent something in our lives that is not found in Jesus. I also saw a picture of a wrecking ball that demolished all the bricks.

If there is fear in your life it is not from Jesus. If there is disunity, arguments, disappointments, confusion, regrets, these are not from Jesus.

We cannot build our lives with bricks that are not designed and cemented in the strong foundation of Jesus. But there is power in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus has the power to demolish fear, disappointment, anxiety, disunity, arguments, regret, confusion, anger, shame.... whatever it is that is robbing you of your joy today.

There is power in the name of Jesus!
There is wisdom in the name of Jesus!
There is healing in the name of Jesus!
There is peace in the name of Jesus!
There is wholeness in the name of Jesus!
There is is freedom in the name of Jesus!
There is hope in the name of Jesus!

I shared this word with my very talented and good friend Sarah Nunns who who very kindly drew the image that I had had been given from God. I will put this on my wall to remind me that God has the power to demolish every stronghold and problem in my life. I pray that this resonates with you and encourages you to surrender to this AMAZING God that we serve.
